“Faith is not the belief that God will do what you want. It is the belief that God will do what is right.” —He Still Moves Stones
Believing in God means believing certain things about God, such as: that He loves you, that He wants what is best for you, and that He will work everything out for your good. When things don’t work out the way you wanted them to, when you ask for something and don’t get it, a person who has faith still believes those things. We may not know why things went wrong, or why we aren’t getting what we want, but we can still trust that God loves us and will work everything out for the best.
